Lowry Beer Garden

Celebrating Colorado’s craft beer culture, the Lowry Beer Garden is nestled in its very own park with more than 9,000 square feet of outdoor garden area, vast open-air seating, and an inviting covered pavilion. The communal Oktoberfest-style picnic tables that collectively can accommodate up to 500 guests, foster an environment of community and conviviality. The Garden offers a thoughtful draft and bottled beer selection with a focus on Colorado and handcrafted brews. The Lowry Beer Garden also serves up your favorite casual fare with locally-made gourmet brats & sausages, freshly-baked pretzels, house-ground burgers, hand-cut fries and chef-created salads.

6th Annual Denver Children’s Home Thanksgiving Food Drive

November 1, 2019 - November 24, 2019  :  All business hours

Every November for the past several years, Lowry Beer Garden has brought the neighborhood together to help provide beautiful Thanksgiving dinners to 30 families from Denver Children’s Home.  Here’s how it works:  between November 1 and November 20, bring in five non-perishable food donations from the approved list below and receive a complimentary draft beer.  Lowry Beer Garden will match your generosity by donating all of the turkeys.  Then on the Monday before Thanksgiving, the Lowry Beer Garden staff will deliver the food to Denver Children’s Home and assemble the bags containing the meals.  The following day, volunteers from DCH will deliver the meals to the families.  This truly is our favorite program of the year.  We hope you will join us!

Approved non-perishable food items:  stuffing, instant boxed potatoes, canned sweet potatoes, canned pumpkin, canned green beans, canned corn, canned peas/carrots, canned olives, canned fruit, canned cranberry sauce, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, bagged almonds, unrefrigerated pie crust, bread mixes, jello, cake mixes and frosting.

Denver Children’s Home restores hope and health to traumatized children and families through a comprehensive array of therapeutic, educational and community-based services.
